My elder son, Shayne and I
Introducing Aquafresh new Kids Products!
Do you know that compared to your tooth enamel, your child’s tooth enamel is 50% thinner? That’s why we, as parents, need to ensure that our kids are using the right toothpaste which has been specially formulated for their little teeth.

As such, I was pleased to learn that Aquafresh has launched a brand new Kids range, catering to the oral care needs of children of different age groups (3 months old to 6+ years old). Last year, they have re-launched their popular “First Teeth” baby toothpaste and while it now has a new look, it is still the same great product that many parents have trusted for years.

This year, Aquafresh has expanded the children’s toothpaste range to include “Aquafresh Little Teeth” (for 3-5 years old) and “Aquafresh My Big Teeth” (for 6+ years old). You’ll also be glad to know that Aquafresh toothpaste has the latest improved formulation with Sugar Acid Protection to help your child’s teeth to grow strong and healthy!

Luckily, although my elder son is a fussy-eater, he has no qualms about brushing his teeth ever since he was young! Hence, when I introduced to him Aquafresh’s My Big Teeth toothpaste, he was excited to try it out and told me that he wanted to brush his teeth immediately! Haha!

1) Apply a layer of Aquafresh’s My Big Teeth toothpaste onto the bristles of your child's toothbrush. (Interesting fact: Aquafresh’s Big Kids toothpaste has a formula that strengthens the enamel of new adult teeth, while boosting the protection of our kid’s baby teeth too. Most importantly, it is tough on decay but less abrasive than an adult’s regular toothpaste.)

2) Shayne gets ready to brush his little teeth! :D

3) Brushing his teeth with Aquafresh’s My Big Teeth toothpaste and toothbrush…

4) After a minute of brushing, it was time for him to spit out his toothpaste and rinse his mouth, but he was too engrossed in his brushing and didn’t want to stop. Haha.

In a nutshell, when you’re looking for a baby/child’s toothpaste, be sure to choose the one which is specifically manufactured and labeled for use in children. Although the primary ingredients in most toothpaste are same which includes some type of abrasive, fluoride and a flavoring, the ingredients and quantity of the ingredients are different in adult and baby/child’s toothpaste. You can be rest assured that the kids range of toothpaste from Aquafresh has been specially formulated for your little one’s developing teeth, therefore it’s a safe toothpaste for our little one!

/ps: Be sure to check out and download their free fun app at The game app shows kids a fun and appropriate way to brush all parts of their teeth. A catchy song is used to get kids bopping, while a timer counts down for two minutes – the recommended brushing time for kids.
