For our first holiday trip with baby Nathan, we headed to Hongkong city and I'm happy to say that everyone, including our kids, loved the trip! During our first day, we went to the
Victoria Peak by the tram and did lots of sight-seeing. Papa and I had been to The Peak a few times, and Shayne has been there once. Nonetheless, it is still a tourist attraction not to be missed!
Here are some photos of our Day 1 at Hongkong (The Peak Tram and Tower):

We stayed at the "Royal Plaza Hotel" and so far, it's the biggest and most spacious hotel we've stayed in. The service was excellent too. Two thumbs up! |

Nathan and I :) And soon, it was time to head out! |

This tower behind us (The Bank of China) was featured in Mission Impossible 3. |

Ta-dah, we've finally arrived at The Peak Tram station! |

A quick snap of Shayne before we took the tram. This is the 3rd time that he has been to Hongkong but luckily, he still enjoys visiting the city. |

In the tram and off we go! Taken from its website "According to a study by The University of Hong Kong, passengers riding
on The Peak Tram will experience a spectacular visual illusion; when
going uphill, the high rises of the right ride of the tram appear to
fall toward The Peak. This Peak Tram illusion is induced by a change of
the subjective vertical caused by the tilted visual environment and
reclining body position of observers inside the tram." |

When we reached The Peak tower, it was only 5pm and so, we decided to hang around the area before heading to the Sky Terrace to catch the night view of Hongkong. |

After walking around the shops and playing at the playground, it was night time and we went to the Sky Terrace. As usual, it was crowded and everyone were snapping photos everywhere. It's really the best place to view Hongkong. :) "The Peak Tower boasts the highest 360° viewing platform -
The Sky Terrace 428.
Standing at 428 metres above sea level, the Sky Terrace 428 offers
spectacular panoramic views of the vibrant city – from the stunning
cityscape to the tranquility of greenery landscape." It was very windy and cold, and our fingers and ears were freezing at that time!

After the trip to The Peak, we took the tram down, had dinner and did more sight-seeing along the streets before we made our way back to the hotel. We walked so much during the 5 days, about 6-8 hours a day, but it was all worth it! More photos of our Day 2-4 will be up soon. Have a good week, everyone. :)
Fantastic. The blog post is really wonderful and I would like to read more. Hong Kong Places of Interest
