Carlton Hotel Staycation Part 2 + Naughty Nuri's Ribs Restaurant!

Ribs at Naughty Nuri's. It's their signature dish ;)
Here are the remaining photos of our staycation at Carlton Hotel (Day 2)! We hung out at the nearby malls that day and had such a delicious lunch at Naughty Nuri's Ribs restaurant (more on that soon!) It was lovely to take a break from our hectic work schedule and now, I can't wait for Christmas to spend more time with my family and friends. :)

Admiring the view every day and every night :) It was one of his fav activity during the staycation.

Wearing Shayne's pj which he had outgrown. I remember Shayne would wear this same pj whenever we stayed at hotels..

Good morning, Nathan :)

Happy Shayne and his scooter!

Finally, LUNCH!!! "Anthony Bourdain, author of Kitchen Confidential and host of his famous TV series, shared several Naughty Nuri’s martinis with Brian and wrote in the guest book that the Naughty Nuri’s martini’s were the best he had outside of New York. Many celebrities, including fashion designer, Donna Karen, and major film stars like Julia Roberts have visited Naughty Nuri’s and loved the ribs, drinks and the great atmosphere. Author, Elizabeth Gilbert who wrote, ‘Eat, Pray, Love was a regular at Naughty Nuri’s for many years while living and working in Ubud." (you can read more about the restaurant here.)
milo dinosaur
BBQ cheesy fries (quantity was quite small considering that it cost $8, but the flavour and amount of melted bbq cheese makes up for that. It was SO GOOD.)
Mocktail for me! ;)

The half-rack ribs ($18.80 for half, $35.80 for full rack) were covered in a delicious mouth-watering sweet-savoury sauce. Some parts were perfectly charred and the meat was perfectly tender. YUMMMM....

TIME TO DIG IN.

Naughty Nuri's is located at 15 Stamford Road, #01-84, Capitol Singapore (near City Hall MRT).
Opening Hours: 11am – 11pm (Mon – Thurs), 11am – 12am (Fri – Sat). (in case you're wondering, this is not an ad... the food is really worth travelling for! ;))
some random photos taken over the next few hours..

my 9 months baby girl <3
my 28 months toddler son. love my 3 kiddos so much! <3

playing with his Papa. // Nathan would climb onto his Papa's legs and then leap off backwards onto the bed. Haha boys..
This was really a funny moment. Papa kept pretending to be looking outside enthusiastically with Nathan, but Nathan couldn't be bothered by him. Haha! Love the fact that both of them were wearing matching t-shirts. :)
So that's the end of our Carlton Hotel staycation post! I'll upload our recent Bali holiday photos soon. We booked a 3 bedroom villa for ourselves with an outdoor pool, and stayed at Bali for 5 days and 4 nights. We spent most of our time in the villa and it was so relaxing... Ok more photos of that in a few days time. Ciao!
